RAF FA Launch 2024-28 Strategy
Building on the success of recent years and on our previous strategy, the RAF FA have recently launched a new and improved one for 2024-2028; giving a framework for how we intend to develop and improve all aspects of RAF football over the next five years. The strategy reflects alignment with the FA and will ensure RAF football is delivered coherently with the wider national game.
Our purpose: Th RAF FA intends to use football as a vehicle to enhance Air and Space Power capability, through uniting our communities, tackling inequalities in the game, and improving the operational effectiveness of the Whole Force.
Our priorities:
• Improve playing choice and opportunities
• Deliver equitable opportunities for women to play
• Strive to improve our facilities
• Enhance RAF operational effectiveness
• Develop a valued network of volunteers, coaches and referees
In the words of Gp Capt Jon Smith, Chairman of the RAF FA, “This strategy is more than just a statement of intent, to spend the next 5 years as a tile on our website, it is a blueprint to guide our decision-making and drive forward a significant level of activity to improve the RAF Football experience”.
