Sgt Danny Bartley Standing Down As U23s Manager

After 3 strong seasons, Sgt Danny Bartley will stand down as the Manager of the RAF Men’s U23 Team at the end of this season. Danny and his team have been instrumental in developing players for the Senior Men’s Team whilst remaining competitive in the Inter-services Championships.

Assistant Head of Royal Air Force Representative Teams, Squadron Leader Ben Burton said “ The Head of Rep Teams and I are extremely grateful for the hard work and dedication that Sgt Bartley has shown throughout his time within the representative football domain. A talented player and coach,  he has brought much success to RAF Football. It has been a privilege to work with him and his backroom staffs, and we wish them all the very best in the future."

The Chairman of Royal Air Force Football, Group Captain Jon Smith added “My sincere thanks go to Sgt Bartley whose commitment to RAF Football has been utterly impressive. A prominent name within the Association, Danny has been a successful player, coach, and manager. Additionally, my thanks are extended to Sgt Bartley’s staff over the last three seasons who have supported him tremendously. The commitment and dedication shown by all members symbolises the very best of Royal Air Force Football. I wish Sgt Bartley and his staff the very best of luck in their future endeavours.”

Sgt Danny Bartley
